FENWAY PARK

Fenway Park was designed in 1912, and has gone through countless modifications over the years. Starting in 2002, the Red Sox and their architect Janet Marie Smith along with the firm DAIQ started with small but carefully focused improvements to the stadium including a street closure, improving the pregame experience, as well as more restrooms and food concessions.

The team wanted to enhance the ballpark’s unique features including the scoreboard, which is still updated by hand. New seating along the top of green monster wall provides a different view of the game. Now there are even more places to watch the game or get refreshments around the park.

There is a lot to choose from, but why not try the local Italian sausage. If you can’t see a game, tours of the park are available. Be sure you don’t miss out on a chance to see Fenway Park.
