Rolex BUILDING DALLAS
Kengo Kuma designed the Rolex Building in Dallas that was completed in 2018.
The design incorporated two types of grids that were twisted as they stack. The horizontal louvers shade the glass facade. The tower has a stone walled podium to accommodate the elevation change across the site that was built using the traditional Japanese Ano masonry technique. A garden extends to the interior along with stone and wood.
Nearby try Magnolias nearby for a coffee and a pastry.
Be sure to see this building on your visit to Dallas.
